The countdown to the best day of the year is ON. Everything you need to know about hosting your school’s Fair is right here. Your Kick-off Kit arrives two weeks before the Fair begins, but you can get a jump start on your planning now.
Getting started
Make it official by accepting your Services Agreement and confirming your school’s Fair dates at least six weeks before the Fair. Next, you’ll want to:

Review the planning checklist to stay organized and on track.

Rally a team of volunteers.
o
Learn how to earn up to $200 Scholastic Dollars for your school.
Promote your Fair
The Host Hub is packed with Fair Files, engaging book resources, and helpful eWallet materials to make promoting your Fair easy.
Spread the word
Now’s the time to tell everyone: the Book Fair is coming!

Share the link or QR code to your school’s homepage (available in Fair Details and Settings) with families and teachers.

Personalize the principal letter template and send it to families.

Post save-the-dates on your school’s social media channels and newsletters.

Hang hallway posters from the Kick-off Kit and update your school marquee.
Hype the books
Let everyone know what’s at the Fair: Kids’ favorite characters, bestsellers, new releases, and books they won’t find anywhere else.

Begin planning your teacher preview and any family events around three weeks before the Fair to get everybody geared up to shop.
