Setting Up your Discovery Fair
When the delivery truck rolls up to your school, it’s go time! The delivery includes everything you need to bring your Fair to life:

After the Discovery Fair
Pack up the Fair
When your Fair comes to an end, take time to shop the Fair using your Scholastic Dollars. Then follow these steps to prep for pickup:
o
Connect each register to the Internet, tap CLOSE FAIR on the Home screen, then pack it into the carrying case
o
Confirm the Fair’s pickup date on your Fair Details and Settings page
o
Leave unsold items in the cases, lower the headers, then shut and latch the cases
o
Pack up everything else in the original boxes and stack them on top of the cases
Complete your financials
Review your financials from the Fair, and get the biggest bang from every buck spent by your shoppers:

Consider your profit options–Choosing to receive Scholastic Dollars is the only way to double your school earnings*
o
o
When your financials are ready to review, you’ll receive an email—usually within one day of closing out all payment systems

Disclaimer: Your school can earn Scholastic Dollars as profit from your Fair’s sales or as rewards. Your school’s account balance combines both of these amounts. Profit from your Fair earned as Scholastic Dollars does not expire, but rewards expire six months after your Fair’s start date—unless you hold another Fair within seven months, which extends your rewards until seven days after the Fair end date. Be sure to report any purchases with redeemed rewards within those seven days. We can’t reissue expired rewards, but when you redeem Scholastic Dollars, amounts with an expiration date are automatically redeemed first.
See your Scholastic Dollars balance in the Host Hub for specific expiration dates for each reward amount. Scholastic Dollars that you earn from a Fair will appear in your balance after your Fair’s payment is finalized. Buy One, Get One Free (BOGO) Fairs do not qualify for Scholastic Dollars profit.
*Book Fairs with $3,800 or more in revenue earn 50% in Scholastic Dollars. Earnings can be received in Scholastic Dollars, cash, or a combination.
**Scholastic Dollars earned for this bonus incentive will be added to your account after you've submitted your Financial Form. Rewards may expire six months from the date they were issued.
