Additional Details

Setting Up eWallets

The eWallet feature is enabled by default and the link is available on your book fair homepage.

Student eWallets are available for setup two weeks prior to your fair start date. Accounts cannot be created before that time due to credit card preauthorization regulations.

Purchasers must create an eWallet for each student; accounts cannot be shared or transferred.

A preauthorization charge will appear on the credit card in the amount selected as the spending limit.

Additional funds can be added to the eWallet at any time. Purchasers can also cancel funds. Track spending and see all account activity in your student roster.

At the Book Fair

Parents will only be charged for what is purchased (up to the spending limit they selected). The preauthorized amount will expire after the last day of the book fair.

Student eWallets can be scanned or looked up at the book fair using the student's grade, teacher, or name; eWallets do not have to be printed or presented to a cashier.

If internet connection to your EasyScan2 register becomes unavailable at school during the fair, log in to your Toolkit and print out a eWallet student scan sheet to use at checkout. The scan sheet will include a bar code for each student eWallet; because purchasers may add or remove funds at any time, make sure you print out a new scan sheet to use each day you are without internet connection. Your Toolkit will always show the latest balance and transaction history in real time.
