Virtual Author Visits

Bring the thrill of meeting a favorite author
to your school... virtually!

Virtual Author Visits give your students the thrill of meeting their favorite authors and illustrators with a live streaming appearance hosted by Scholastic Book Fairs. Available for purchase through the Scholastic Dollars Catalog, this safe, easy-to-schedule conversation is sure to deepen lesson engagement and inspire future authors!

"What an amazing afternoon! I have so many students that came up to me with a light in their eyes that shared how much they enjoyed our virtual meeting! A third grader told her teacher that every answer to every question inspired her further to write and read!"

—Erika Hanke, Bennington Elementary School

When you book a Virtual Author Visit, you choose from a roster of beloved writers and illustrators to join your students via video chat.
